CAD Jewelry Design
Scott uses the latest in CAD technology to design unique pieces of jewelry using the customer's stones, or ones purchased from Scott's vast collection. Any leftover gold from old pieces is recycled by our caster and is used like cash towards the new item. The entire process is very "green"!
With the CAD system, Scott works with the customer to design exactly what they want. The initial appointment takes about an hour. Using photos, drawings or just an idea, Scott can create the piece, then can make a 3-D picture of what it looks like before it's even been cast! Any changes are then made, sometimes via email, before the piece is transformed into a special polymer mold, again right here on the premises.
The molds are then send to the caster - another local family business, then the stones are set by our expert bench jewelers, polished and ready for the customer to enjoy!
Because all changes are made before the piece gets cast, there are no surprises. Not only does that keep the finished price down, but the customer is always happy.
